EVERY 2016 GOP PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL BUT BUSH AND CHRISTIE OWN GUNS

Every 2016 GOP presidential hopeful except Jeb Bush and New Jersey Chris Christie (R) own guns, and lots of them.

Between the “15 noteworthy” contenders there are at least “40 guns” privately owned, and these include Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) .357 Magnum and shotgun, Senator Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) AR-15, former Governor Rick Perry’s (R-TX) “jogging” gun, the revolver Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) says he bought “for protection” in 2010, and Governor Bobby Jindal’s (R) Smith & Wesson .38 Special, among others.

Yet according to The Washington Post, pro-illegal immigration candidate Jeb Bush does not own one gun, nor does Governor Christie. This news follows Christie’s March 24 claim that he would “respect” gun rights if voters gave him a pro-gun legislature.

Apart from the fact that Bush and Christie don’t own guns, WaPo reports there is “near unanimity” on the issue of guns among all the candidates. But to date, Cruz has emerged as the candidate going beyond mere gun ownership to speak directly about defending the Second Amendment.

Speaking to attendees at a “Lincoln-Reagan” dinner in New Hampshire, Cruz exclaimed, “We need to defend the Second Amendment!” He continued, “I’m pretty sure New Hampshire’s definition of gun control is kind of what it is in Texas. Gun control means hittin’ what you aim [at].”

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) is a gun owner too, and he uses his guns for hunting deer and ducks.

Donald Trump owns two guns–including a Heckler & Koch. .45– and has a license to carry in New York City, while former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina “owns five guns” and says her go-to-weapon is a Glock 17 9mm semiautomatic.

POLL: EVEN JEB BUSH SUPPORTERS NOT ‘VERY ENTHUSIASTIC’ ABOUT CANDIDACY

Not even Jeb Bush’s own supporters are “very enthusiastic” about supporting him in 2016.

A Washington Post/ABC News poll found that only 12% of Bush supporters are actually “very enthusiastic” about his candidacy while a whopping 32% of his own supporters are either “not so enthusiastic” or “not enthusiastic at all” about supporting him. Fifty-six percent of his own supporters are “somewhat enthusiastic” about supporting him.

The poll also discovered that 53% of Americans view Bush unfavorably while only 33% view him favorably. Bush, though, leads the GOP field in the national poll with 20%. He is followed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) at 13% and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at 12%. And 33% think Bush will win the nomination regardless of which candidate they support while 12% think Cruz will.

Bush, who has doubled down on his support for comprehensive amnesty legislation and Common Core, has the most support among “moderate and liberal” Republicans and those who are “somewhat conservative.” Bush receives 36% support from the former group and 31% from the latter.

In comparison, the poll found that 42% of Clinton supporters were “very enthusiastic” about supporting her while another 42% were “somewhat enthusiastic.” Seventeen percent were either “not so enthusiastic” or “not enthusiastic at all” about supporting Clinton.

Bush trails Clinton 54-40 in a potential head-to-head battle, and the poll shows exactly the dynamic that conservative scholar and talk radio host Mark Levin warned about last year when he urged conservative activists to nominate a conservative for president for the first time since Ronald Reagan.

“It’s very, very, important that we nominate a conservative for the first time since Ronald Reagan,” Levin said. “There are people under 50-years-old who have never had an opportunity to vote for a conservative president. We want to show them what it’s like. It’s our generation’s responsibility.”

Levin said that candidates like Bush who are preferred by the GOP establishment “are not appealing” because “their candidates don’t stand for anything.

“And when they do stand for something, they’re moving left; they’re not moving right,” he added.

Levin said Republicans will win the White House only when the party nominates a candidate who inspires the grassroots voters who stayed at home instead of holding their noses and voting for moderate Republicans like John McCain, Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush (his second term–when he was running for H.W.’s first term instead of Reagan’s fourth), Bob Dole, and Mitt Romney. He said last year that “it’s invigorating, energizing” and “almost spiritual to get behind somebody with enthusiasm and excitement. To go door-to-door. That’s how you win elections.”

The poll of “Republicans and GOP-leaning independents” has a margin of error of +/- 5.5 percentage points.

FEDS PREPARING TO INVADE TEXAS, LIST STATE AS ‘HOSTILE’

Alex Jones talks with Infowars reporter and Army veteran Joe Biggs about a newly released military document detailing the US Army’s plan to wage war on the American people.

“Jade Helm is a challenging eight-week joint military and Interagency (IA) Unconventional Warfare (UW) exercise conducted throughout Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado,” according to an unclassified military document announcing the training drill, which runs from July 15 through September 15.

Multiple branches of the US military, including Green Berets, Navy Seals, and the 82nd Airborne Division, will participate in the 8-week long exercise, which may result in “increased aircraft in the area at night.”

Troops will be tasked with honing advanced skills in “large areas of undeveloped land with low population densities,” and will work alongside “civilians to gain their trust and an understanding of the issues.”

The exercise, in which some participants will be “wearing civilian clothes and driving civilian vehicles,” lists Texas and Utah as “hostile” territory.

According to the document, Texas was chosen due to the state’s “historically supportive… efforts to prepare our soldiers, airmen, marines and sailors to fight the enemies of the United States.”

Despite the document’s claims, multiple Army training manuals and studies in the past have specifically targeted such states due to concerns over the growing influence of right-leaning ideologies and groups, such as the “Tea Party.”

A leaked 2012 US Army Military Police training manual, entitled “Civil Disturbance Operations,” described how soldiers would be ordered to confiscate firearms and kill American “dissidents.” The manual also revealed that prisoners would be detained in temporary internment camps and “re-educated” to gain a new appreciation of “U.S. policies,” in accordance with U.S. Army FM 3-19.40 Internment/Resettlement Operations.

Also in 2012, a Department of Homeland Security-funded study characterized Americans “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.

In the past, large scale domestic military exercises have also included foreign countries.

During a training drill in April 2012, the United States trained soldiers from Russia, hosted in Fort Carson, Colorado, on how to target American terrorists.

And just last year, US Special Forces and commandos trained with troops from 16 foreign nations, including Colombia, France and Germany, in Tampa, Fl., practicing how to coordinate aerial, ground and aquatic operations.

Although nations can benefit from joint drills, the exercises also serve to blur the lines of national sovereignty, slowly leading to the formation of a North American Union, as mentioned by former CIA head General David Petraeus.

Another troubling aspect of domestic drills is the apparent erosion of the Posse Comitatus Act, which the 2007 John Warner National Defense Authorization Act scaled back to allow the armed forces to “Restore Public Order” during events declared national emergency.

BREAKING: Plan Launched in Congress to Defund the UN [VIDEO]

The United Nations was established in hopes of preventing another global catastrophe. World War II had ended. Parts of Europe and Asia were in ruins. Subsequently, the U.N. was established in 1945 as an organization of member states to foster international cooperation.

Yet, over the past 60 years, the effectiveness of the U.N. has been questioned because its role as a peacemaker has been subverted time and time again by individuals representing separate governments with their own agendas.Now the organization may be used by President Barack Obama to reach a deal with Iran over that country’s use of nuclear power by circumventing the U.S. Congress.

But South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham says the Senate will not sit idly by and be marginalized by the Obama administration.

If necessary, the Senate will retaliate by cutting off funding to the U.N., he said.

The senator made his comments this past Thursday on the Fox News Channel’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.” And he wasn’t issuing an idle threat.

The United States provides nearly one-quarter of the funds the U.N. needs to operate. This translates to $654 million for 2015.

Graham stated that he would have enough votes, including some from Democrats, to defund the UN (H/T Fox News).

The next day, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said that Obama would not lift sanctions against Iran “at the front end of (an) agreement” but would “leave the sanctions in place to verify Iranian compliance.”

But Earnest added that the sanctions could be lifted later as part of a negotiated deal with Iran.

Graham told Van Susteren that the Obama administration would be making “a mistake for the ages” if it bypassed Congress and allowed Iran eventually to possess nuclear weapons.

Not only would such a mistake threaten national security, but also the failure of the U.N. — an organization established to promote peace — would be made manifest.

Netanyahu told a jubilant crowd of Likud supporters early Wednesday morning that "against all odds, we have scored a major victory for the Likud."

"Hail, hail, Bibi," Likud adherents chanted as Netanyahu took to the podium on Wednesday.

"We have scored a major victory for the nationalist camp headed by Likud," Netanyahu said.

"I'm proud of the Israeli people because at the moment of truth they knew to differentiate between challenge and nonsense and they took up the challenge," the prime minister said.

Netanyahu said that his government will work to improve on "the most important things for all of us, which genuine security and socioeconomic welfare."

After the prime minister raised eyebrows in the latter stages of the campaign by warning of a high voter turnout among Israel's Arabs, Netanyahu seemed to be extending an olive branch to Israel's minorities during his speech.

"These are important things for every family, citizen, soldier, and all of Israel's Jewish and non-Jewish citizens," Netanyahu said. "You are all important, and you are all important to me."

The prime minister also seemed to be going out of his way to mention economic matters, a departure from his public appearances during which regional threats and the security front were prominent.

"Now we must form a strong, stable government that will know how to uphold security and socioeconomic well-being."

"We are faced with major challenges on the security and socioeconomic front," Netanyahu said. "We promised to take care of cost of living and rise of housing costs, and we will do it."

"I spoke to all of the nationalist party leaders, and I called on them to join me in forming a government without delay, because reality doesn't take a timeout."

"Citizens expect us to form a responsible leadership that will work for it, and that's what we will do."
