34,000 Black Churches Break Fellowship with Presbyterian Church USA over Gay Marriage!

It's still going on: Satan captures one group after another when churches FAIL TO FOLLOW THE WORD OF GOD!!! The Bible is pretty clear on what's right or wrong!

Thank God for the 34,000 pastors who are leading their flocks in accordance with the Word of God, AS HE WROTE IT!!!

The Presbyterian Church USA recently changed it’s denominations constitution to approve of same-sex marriage. The move didn’t come as a surprise for most observers, but it was still a blow to American Christianity. The denomination’s decision further separates them from American mainstream evangelical Christianity, and it continues a long train of abuses from the PCUSA against orthodox Christian teaching.

For one group the decision was also a final blow to their tenuous relationship.

The National Black Church Initiative (NBCI) is a coalition of more than 34,000 African-American churches across 15 denominations with over 15 million congregants, who, upon hearing of the PCUSA’s move to approve gay marriage, decided to end their relationship with the PCUSA.

NBCI President Reverend Anthony Evans had this to say about the decision to part ways with the PCUSA:

"NBCI and its membership base are simply standing on the Word of God within the mind of Christ. We urge our brother and sisters of the PCUSA to repent and be restored to fellowship." 

"PCUSA's manipulation represents a universal sin against the entire church and its members. With this action, PCUSA can no longer base its teachings on 2,000 years of Christian scripture and tradition, and call itself a Christian entity in the body of Christ.  It has forsaken its right by this single wrong act.  

"Apostle Paul warns us about this when he declared in Galatians 1:8 that there are those who will preach another gospel. 

"For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. ... For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 

"No church has the right to change the Word of God. By voting to redefine marriage PCUSA automatically forfeits Christ's saving grace. There is always redemption in the body of Christ through confession of faith and adhering to Holy Scripture.

"In this case, PCUSA deliberately voted to change the

Word of God and the interpretation of holy marriage between one man and one woman. This is why we must break fellowship with them and urge the entire Christendom to do so as well."

It’s fairly safe to say that conservative churches will continue to abandon the PCUSA ship in droves… as they’ve been doing for years now.

In 1967, the PC(USA) had 3,304,321 members. In 2013, the membership was 1,760,200, a decline of 47 percent.

Meanwhile the conservative Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) has been growing!

In 1973, the PCA had 41,232 members. In 2013, the membership was 367,033, an increase of 790 percent.

When your values and beliefs change as culture shifts, how can you pretend that your “wisdom” or “advice” has any power? Why should anyone listen to you when your very beliefs may be different just a few short years from now? PCUSA, you need to face the facts… America and the world no longer has any use for you. It’s for the PCUSA to close their doors and head on home. And Good Riddance to a destitute denomination that would rather please men than please the Almighty God
