BOOM: Trey Gowdy Launches “Controversial” Plan For the 50 States to Defy Barack Obama

In the face of Barack Obama’s refusal to protect the nation’s sieve-like borders, the individual states feel powerless to address their illegal immigrant problem. But Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) just proposed a bill that could be the perfect solution.

Last week, Gowdy unveiled the “The Michael Davis, Jr. in Honor of State and Local Law Enforcement Act.”

The legislation is an immigration enforcement bill named in recognition of Officer Michael Davis, who was killed in the line of duty by a twice previously deported criminal illegal alien. His murderer is a poignant example of the massive population being escorted into America by the Obama administration.

In response, Rep. Gowdy is pushing for local governments to defend their own border and enforce immigration laws. This bill would equip and empower local law enforcement to police the border breakdown.

Because local law enforcement is always more directly involved with the hands-on policing tasks, Gowdy believes this places them in the best position to fight this crucial battle at the border.

It can’t be ignored that Gowdy’s bill would be superfluous if Obama’s cowardly policies had not surrendered the border already. Obama is proactively ordering federal agent to ignore current immigration laws.

The immigration policies of the current White House reveal either a disturbing cowardice to fight the problem or a treasonous desire to weaken American borders. Both alternatives are unacceptable and must be addressed immediately.

The brilliance of Rep. Gowdy’s bill is clear in the context of Obama’s failures. Local law enforcement are simply better equipped to defend the border due to their close proximity,  increased manpower, and the obvious community-based motivation to protect their towns and cities. The legislation may have a tough road ahead, but Rep. Gowdy is proving he is more than capable of fighting the biggest battles in Washington D.C.

BREAKING: Plan Launched in Congress to Defund the UN [VIDEO]

The United Nations was established in hopes of preventing another global catastrophe. World War II had ended. Parts of Europe and Asia were in ruins. Subsequently, the U.N. was established in 1945 as an organization of member states to foster international cooperation.

Yet, over the past 60 years, the effectiveness of the U.N. has been questioned because its role as a peacemaker has been subverted time and time again by individuals representing separate governments with their own agendas.Now the organization may be used by President Barack Obama to reach a deal with Iran over that country’s use of nuclear power by circumventing the U.S. Congress.

But South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham says the Senate will not sit idly by and be marginalized by the Obama administration.

If necessary, the Senate will retaliate by cutting off funding to the U.N., he said.

The senator made his comments this past Thursday on the Fox News Channel’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.” And he wasn’t issuing an idle threat.

The United States provides nearly one-quarter of the funds the U.N. needs to operate. This translates to $654 million for 2015.

Graham stated that he would have enough votes, including some from Democrats, to defund the UN (H/T Fox News).

The next day, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said that Obama would not lift sanctions against Iran “at the front end of (an) agreement” but would “leave the sanctions in place to verify Iranian compliance.”

But Earnest added that the sanctions could be lifted later as part of a negotiated deal with Iran.

Graham told Van Susteren that the Obama administration would be making “a mistake for the ages” if it bypassed Congress and allowed Iran eventually to possess nuclear weapons.

Not only would such a mistake threaten national security, but also the failure of the U.N. — an organization established to promote peace — would be made manifest.

According to the document, Texas was chosen due to the state’s “historically supportive… efforts to prepare our soldiers, airmen, marines and sailors to fight the enemies of the United States.”
Despite the document’s claims, multiple Army training manuals and studies in the past have specifically targeted such states due to concerns over the growing influence of right-leaning ideologies and groups, such as the “Tea Party.”
A leaked 2012 US Army Military Police training manual, entitled “Civil Disturbance Operations,” described how soldiers would be ordered to confiscate firearms and kill American “dissidents.” The manual also revealed that prisoners would be detained in temporary internment camps and “re-educated” to gain a new appreciation of “U.S. policies,” in accordance with U.S. Army FM 3-19.40 Internment/Resettlement Operations.
Also in 2012, a Department of Homeland Security-funded study characterized Americans “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.
In the past, large scale domestic military exercises have also included foreign countries.
During a training drill in April 2012, the United States trained soldiers from Russia, hosted in Fort Carson, Colorado, on how to target American terrorists.
And just last year, US Special Forces and commandos trained with troops from 16 foreign nations, including Colombia, France and Germany, in Tampa, Fl., practicing how to coordinate aerial, ground and aquatic operations.
Although nations can benefit from joint drills, the exercises also serve to blur the lines of national sovereignty, slowly leading to the formation of a North American Union, as mentioned by former CIA head General David Petraeus.
Another troubling aspect of domestic drills is the apparent erosion of the Posse Comitatus Act, which the 2007 John Warner National Defense Authorization Act scaled back to allow the armed forces to “Restore Public Order” during events declared national emergency.
